Gloves 101: A guide to measuring your glove size
how to measure for your glove size |
We have received a number of
questions about how to determine your correct glove size so we’ve decided to
blog about that today.
Choosing the correct glove
size is very important for our comfort and safety. The correct size ensures we get the best
performance from the gloves we purchase.
Australian Standards EN420
states that glove size is “the hand cirfumference measured around your palm
from a point about 20mm about the crotch of your thumb but excluding the thumb”
On page 6 of ANSELL is an
illustration that can easily help determine glove size. Additionally, we’ve added the table below for
our glove sizes.
